I followed Jonny's advice of joining forums and putting links to my websites in my signature, and making a few posts. Remember, I am new to this. I made maybe a total of 7 posts in different categories. I then got an email from Warrior Forum saying that I'm not allowed to put affiliate links in my signature, so I immediately removed them, and only left a link to this blog. Then seconds later, I got another email from Warrior Forum - identical to the first, but from someone different. I rechecked my signature, and made sure the only link there was to this blog, and no affiliate links. I got no more emails, so I thought I was fine.
I try to go to warrior forum today, and get this message:
"You have been banned for the following reason:
Spamming WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums
Date the ban will be lifted: Never"
Ouch, what a brutal, unforgiving world this internet marketing thing is turning out to be for me. Anyway, will continue on with the Money Siphon, and continue to post my results.

Did Jonny tell you to put AFFILIATE links on the forum or links to your OWN site? I've seen his affiliate info & it doesn't say anything about putting affiliate links on forums (in emails, yes). Affiliate links are prohibited on the WF as per their TOS. You said you were reviewing MSS but it sounds like you're trying to do 2 things at the same time: be an affiliate for MSS or TGA AND trying to follow MSS. You'll only have success focusing on ONE THING AT A TIME.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember, maybe he did say only link to my own site. That's why I said I made a mistake in the title. My problem is that I corrected that mistake immediately, but still got kicked out FOREVER. What I'm doing is everything that Jonny is teaching me to do in MSS. The first thing he teaches is how to be an affiliate for MSS (he included all the affiliate links and banners to MSS, then he emailed me all that stuff for TGA). So yes, I'm reading MSS, and doing what he says at the same time. I can't write a proper review without actually trying some of his methods that he teaches. That's what all these other bozos are doing with their fake reviews that talk about how great the product is and know squat about it. (Jonny even kinda promotes doing that, which I thought was shameful).
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad you got banned on the WF. It is a very established IM forum, the biggest & most popular. They have gotten very intolerant of ANYONE coming in & spamming the forum with their affiliate links. And guess who made it so tough lately? Affiliates for MMM. Mack sent them there & there were a flood of them posting worthless comments just to get their affiliate link in, so the forum cracked down on anyone who tries it even once. Long time & active members are quick to report violators (as you've seen).
